Information about the League

Goffstown Babe Ruth Softball offers girls from the age of 5 to 16 to play and learn the game of softball while having a positive experience.

Games are held locally with most games at the Goffstown High School complex, which includes a full size field with a concession stand, score board, indoor ladies and men’s room, bleachers on both sides of the field, a batting cage, pitching wall and deck area to watch the games. Some games will be played at Mountain View Middle School as well as Dunbarton Elementary fields.

We compete in four age divisions:   (A player’s age is determined by how old they are on January 1^st, 2012.)

16 & Under (16U)                 12 & Under (12U)         10 & Under (10U)         Instructional (8U)

Instructional:  For girls 8 and under who are playing for the first time or are not 8 years old as of January 1, 2012. 8 year old girls who have been in the instructional league for a minimum of one year are encouraged to play in the 10 and under division but not required to.

Registration Fees which include a player’s shirt, visor, insurance, umpires and equipment are:

16U, 12U and 10U age divisions:               $70.00

Instructional (8U) age division:                            $50.00
